Platinum Open Access<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open Access<\/strong> system enables readers to access published material for free, without paying a subscription charge. All articles published in Proceedings International<\/em> are freely available immediately after publication. This means that researchers, students, and interested lay people from anywhere in the world have rapid access to the latest research through our journal. All content is distributed under a Creative Commons open access license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All papers are published free of charge, without any\nhidden cost or article processing charges (APC).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Journals Published by AMG Transcend\nAssociation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seven journal titles are currently published by AMG Transcend Association and available online in open access format. We continuously launch new journals in response to academic developments, and to be able to serve additional research communities and their needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AMG Transcend Association Editorial\nOffices<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

AMG Transcend Association is headquartered in Bucharest, Romania. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The in-house\nstaff consists of volunteers Assistant Editors, English Editors, Copyeditors\nand Editor in Chief. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Editorial\nBoards are comprised of collaborating editors who are generally employed at\nacademic institutions or corporate research facilities located all over the\nworld. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contact\nwith the in-house editorial staff is mainly by e-mail and\/or telephone,\npublished on the website. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assistant Editors process manuscripts through the peer-review\nand production procedures; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

English\nEditors and Copyeditors are responsible for putting accepted content into a\npublishable format (full-text PDF, XML and HTML versions).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Editorial Process, Peer-Review and\nProduction<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Articles submitted to\nour journals are subjected to a strict peer-reviewing, process which is single\nblind peer-review (the reviewers know the authors\u2019 identities, but the authors\ndo not know the reviewers\u2019 identities). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Instructions for Authors on the\nwebsite of each journal guides authors on how to prepare and submit their\nmanuscripts.<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once a manuscript is\nsubmitted, the submission is received by the in-house Editor in Chief who will\nsubsequently coordinate the whole editorial process for the manuscript:\npeer-review, decision-making, possible authors\u2019 revision, manuscript\nacceptance, copyediting, English editing, proofreading and final publication.\nAn in-house Assistant Editor will be assigned to the submitted article and will\nsend review invitations. At least two reports per manuscript are collected for\neach manuscript. Reviewers must have not published with the authors in the\nprevious five years, and have recent publications in the field of the submitted\nmanuscript.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Editor-in-Chief,\nGuest Editor, or a suitable editorial board member can make the final\nacceptance or rejection decision for a manuscript, usually after author\nrevision. We typically allow no more than two rounds of major revisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After acceptance of an\narticle for publication, the in-house editorial staff will organize the\nproduction of the paper, which entails copyediting, English editing and final\nproduction in preparation for publication on the journal website. All journals\nare structured in yearly volumes and either monthly or quarterly issues.\nNevertheless, articles are published online immediately after acceptance and\nproduction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Editor-in-Chief<\/em><\/strong> Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Editor-in-Chief<\/em> is\nthe head of the journal, and is mainly responsible for the scientific quality of the journal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other responsibilities\nconsist in the assisting of the Editorial Office in the management of the\njournal, concerning aspects like: (\u00b7) scientific\ndecisions about the journal’s scope; (\u00b7) inviting\ndistinguished scientists to join the editorial board; (\u00b7) suggesting topics for\nspecial issues; (\u00b7) assisting\nthe Guest Editors<\/em> in the setup of special issues; (\u00b7) overviewing the\neditorial process for individual manuscripts (mainly by taking the final\ndecision whether a paper can be published after peer-review and revisions).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Editor-in-Chief<\/em> position\nis honorary. The initial term for the Editor-in-Chief <\/em>position is\ntwo years and can be renewed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Editorial Board Member Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among an\nEditorial Board member responsibilities are: (\u00b7) review one or two\nmanuscripts per year; (\u00b7) edit a\nspecial issue on a topic related to his or her research\ninterests; (\u00b7) input or feedback regarding new regulations; (\u00b7) help\nto promote the journal among their peers or at conferences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The communication\nwith Editorial Board members is done primarily by E-mail, published on the\nwebsite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initial\nterm for an Editorial Board membership is two years and can be renewed. An\nEditorial Board member may also step down from the position at any time if he\nor she feels overloaded by the requests from the journal\u2019s Editorial Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guest Editor<\/em><\/strong> Responsibility \/ Guest Editing a Special Issue<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guest Editors are\ncollaborating scholars who edit a Special issue<\/strong> and invite colleagues from the\nsame research field to contribute an article on a topic within their expertise.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the Guest\nEditor <\/em>responsibilities are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(\u00b7) to work together with\nthe Editorial Office to prepare a description and keywords for the special\nissue webpage. We aim for at least ten\narticles published per special issue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(\u00b7) to write an editorial paper for the special issue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(\u00b7) to make decisions on the acceptance of\nmanuscripts submitted to his or her special issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Papers belonging to a\nspecial issue are published online in the journal immediately after acceptance\nand collected together on the special issue webpage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guest Editors\nshould not hold conflicts of interest with authors whose work they are\nassessing, e.g. if they are from the same institution or collaborate closely.\nIn this case the Editor-in-Chief or a suitable editorial board member will make\nfinal acceptance decisions for submitted papers.<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
